Definition Compliance is one of the bases of the Corporate Governance. Its implementation in Brazilian financial institutions has an importance and a mission that exceed the contents of Resolution Nº 2554/98 of the National Monetary Council. It is part of changes with the objective of assuring the compliance to rules and policies and principally to preserve the companies’ image to the market.
Mission
To assure, in conjunction with other areas of the Bank, the adequacy, strength and functionality of the companies’ internal control systems with the objective of mitigating risks in accordance with the complexity of its business, as well as to disseminate the culture for controls to assure the compliance to laws and existing rules.
